Se elevó a 10 el número de fallecidos tras el enfrentamiento entre civiles armados y elementos que integran la Base de Operaciones Mixtas (BOM) en el municipio de Buenavista, en la tierra caliente de Michoacán, en el cual perdió la vida un mando militar.
Además del teniente coronel de Infantería, en la refriega murieron nueve presuntos integrantes del crimen organizado, entre ellos se encuentra una mujer, y hasta el momento no han sido identificados por las autoridades los nueve civiles.
