Una mujer de la tercera edad falleció luego de haber sido degollada en el municipio de Jáltipan, al sur de la entidad. La víctima perdió la vida durante la mañana del jueves en un hospital al que fue trasladada.
Fue identificada como Cecilia Santiago García, encontrada en una hamaca en su domicilio.
