El Gobierno mexicano anunció este jueves el Programa de Cobertura Social 2021-2022 (PCS) con el que pretende llevar internet a 7 mil 537 localidades sin cobertura en las que viven 4.8 millones de personas.
La Secretaría de Infraestructura, Comunicaciones y Transportes (SICT) publicó el plan en el Diario Oficial de la Federación (DOF) para “reducir la brecha digital”, “lograr cobertura universal” y definir zonas de atención prioritaria.
