Yanga.- En el municipio se llevó a cabo el desfile del Encuentro Cultural Orgullo Veracruzano, que reunió a 50 municipios Afroveracruzanos.
La actividad se realizó con la presencia del alcalde, Fernando Nicolás Gordillo Torres, el Cabildo y otras autoridades,
Participaron 50 contingentes de diferentes localidades que mostraron su riqueza cultural, entre ellos Córdoba, Zozocolco, Chacaltianguis, Carlos A. Carrillo, Omealca, Cabada, Tlacotalpan, y El Higo.
